I’d say this pretty much says it all. (Okay, fine… Add “wine” and then it’s complete. ;)
I’m Lauren, the artist behind Paper Bells, Co. I live in Raleigh, NC with my husband and three month-old daughter. They are my tribe, my loves, my cheerleaders (though it’s a shame the husband won’t wear a short, pleated skirt) and this shop would never exist without them beside me.
For me, I cherish things I can hold. A hug. A hand. A letter. These things hold a greater intention and kindness than anything I can receive on the ol' iPhone. (The new definition of “connection.”)
It’s kind of like receiving a birthday card from your Grandma. She wasn’t reminded of your birthday on Facebook, she just knows it. Always has. She picked out that card two weeks ago, but strategically mailed it so you would get it on your actual birthday, or maybe even the day before.
I strive to be more like that, you know? I want to create products that hold an intention and appreciation for the people we love most. Because when people go out of their way for us, we remember it. And cherish it.
That’s what we do here.
